چکیده
Abstract Maxillary Herpes Zoster (HZ) is rare. Trigeminal HZ most frequently involves the ophthalmic division. Partial or complete ophthalmoplegia is a well-known complication of ophthalmic HZ, and Hornerâs syndrome has been previously reported. To our knowledge, simultaneous sixth nerve palsy and Horner’s syndrome complicating maxillary HZ in which the ophthalmic division was spared has not been reported.

The usual presentation of herpes zoster is as a self-limiting vesicular rash, often accompanied by post-herpetic neuralgia (PHN), its most common complication. However, herpes zoster can give rise to other complications, many of which have unusual presentations and serious sequelae. The incidence and burden of many of these less common complications are poorly understood. Ocular complications o...

The disease followed an uneventful course and the patient recovered completely without any sequelae or complications. This case is be...
